I am Benish Javed, by profession, an artist and calligrapher. I have recently graduated in Islamic arts from the Department of Visual Studies, Karachi University. I had always dreamed of painting big canvas but never tried to do so because I belong to a family where studying arts is equivalent to studying nothing.

However, I kept on studying pre-engineering and as I wished got admission in NED University of Engineering and Technology. But unfortunately, it was applied physics. I could not continue to explore such rough subjects for four years, so I managed to study deliberately for a year somehow and left it finally.

I then applied for Islamic Arts in Karachi University to accomplish my goal, and here I am today with my Calligraphy paintings of such big sizes!
